Poultry/ Livestock

Poor water quality will counter the best nutritional programs resulting in below average feed conversions, weight gains, and egg or milk production. Moreover, poor water quality results in a higher incidence of disease.

For example, high levels of algae produce by-products and enzymes that cause problems with the animals’ intestinal system, reducing their ability to absorb protein and fight off infection.

Because of a large number of impurities, water must be treated before use in order to make it suitable for its intended application to be of health and metabolic benefit to poultry and livestock.
